Patricia Melendez is a senior at Georgia State University and is working on completing her Bachelor’s Degree in International Economics and Modern Languages (Concentration: German) and a Minor in Political Science and wishes to one day participate actively in Puerto Rican politics. She is a proud member of the GSU Model United Nations Team and an award-winning delegate for both the NMUN Japan 2016 and NMUN New York 2016 Conferences. Recently, Patricia received the honor of being appointed President of the Model United Nations Board for the upcoming year. She has also previously directed the Economic Social Council during the GSUMUN 2016 Conference and served as Rapporteur for the United Nations Environment Programme in 2015. In her spare time, Patricia enjoys participating in long, healthy Netflix marathons and bonding with her friends through cheap food and harsh criticism.
